It is not with words that we can transform the world, not with images that we change the engineering fools, but there is nothing stronger, more timeless, and more efficient than an idea, a drawing, a word.

21 October 2016 - The United Nations has designated Friday superhero character of American comic Wonder Woman Honorary Ambassador for the empowerment of women and girls.

This appointment is part of a campaign in collaboration with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. to raise awareness to the issue of gender equality. Wonder Woman, one of the most iconic super-heroines, will reach new audiences on the objectives of sustainable development and to stimulate action in favor of gender equality and women's empowerment and girls.

"While we have made progress towards gender equality in many parts of the world, women and girls continue to face discrimination and violence.
