Announced at the E3 2015 with a trailer that made him shiver more than one, the remake of the famous Square Enix RPG has been discreet since. Small point on what we know.

20 years already. In 1997, one of the world's best-known RPGs was released on PlayStation 1: Final Fantasy VII. So inevitably, when the trailer of an official remake was broadcast, the fans got mad! But there are still many frustrating details. First of all, no release date. The game was originally planned in 2017, for the 20 years of the game. Only Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director, recently announced that there was "a long way to go". On the one hand, we have proof that the team wants to make a real good game, but on the other, even no date to count the days.

An Output in Chapters

Another announcement, which dates from the end of 2016 this time: the game is too large to be released in a single opus. Thus, the team explained that this remake would most certainly come out in the form of chapters, like the last Hitman, for example. Let us reassure ourselves however: history should be, apart from a few details, unchanged. Sephiroth, Barret and the others will be part of the game.

Latest news

Only yesterday, two new screenshots have been published (which indicates that there is still a serious follow-up of the game), with Cloud (the hero of the game) in action. It is very little, but it is always enough to make us wait!

And you, do you expect this remake?
