There is a lot of short film on the internet, but few have the narrative and visual quality of Goblin Queen, Reed Shusterman's film.

Released this year on Vimeo, the short film Goblin Queen is a fabulous tribute to the 1980s Heroic-Fantasy films or the work of Peter Jackson with The Lord of the Rings. Reed Shusterman, the director tells the story of Amber Lynn (would it be a tribute to Amberle Elessedil's character in Terry Brooks' Shannara Trilogy?), a young girl plagued by a tyrannical mother who escapes into a fantastic world in which she is the Queen of the Goblins. But one day, as she prepares to go home, one of the Goblins follows her and enters the real world. This is the beginning of trouble for Amber and her mother.

After three years of preparation, on March 28 was the opportunity for Reed Shusterman to unveil his film on the internet and to show the incredible talent of his technical team which made it possible to make real the fantastic story of Amber. Thanks to his making-of photos, we can discover the make-up work realized by Michael Dinetz to give life to the Gobelin which penetrates into our world.
