Discovered thanks to her role as Laura alongside Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, the young Dafne Keen impressed both actors during her audition that the 20th Century Fox has put online.

Logan is one of the most violent superhero films in the Marvel universe. With his abundant hemoglobin and his scenes of survitaminic actions, the actors had to follow the rhythm and really give their person to make their characters shine in the film of James Mangold.

And the most complicated role to play was actually Laura, alias X-23 in the film, because it was an 8-year-old girl who was to incarnate the brutality and bestiality of the character, Wolverine clone. While producers were considering taking actress Millie Bobby Brown who played Eleven in the Stranger Things series, it was finally Dafne Keen who got the title role thanks to his audition that impressed Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.

On the occasion of the release in DVD and Blu-Ray, the 20th Century Fox has put part of the audition online for Laura Kinney in which the actress improvises of the Spanish and tries to convince Logan to join Eden.
