Finishing its fifth orbit around Ceres, since it arrived in 2015, Dawn sends us pics from the mysterious dwarf planet, located at 413 billions kilometers from us !
The probe Dawn has approched the dwarf planet from only 1450 km (or 920 miles) to take those beautiful photographs. We can see the strange Occator Crater, the cryovolcanoes, and Zendai, Yalode, Takei and Kupalo smaller craters. Furthermore, NASA released a new colorized picture of Ceres, being close from what we could see to the naked eye. Then, the probe will start its sixth orbit around Ceres, from 7242 km (or 4500 miles).
We let you discover these fascinating photographs... Tell us what you think !
