Currently in the shootout, the last two episodes of Doctor Who season 10 will see the return of an old enemy that the Doctor had not faced for fifty years.

Doctor Who Season 10 will be broadcast on April 15th on the BBC as the filming of episodes 11 and 12 of this final season for Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat, who will leave the show after this season. But while two major actors of the series leave the series, an old enemy who had not appeared in Doctor Who for more than fifty years resurfaced: the original Cybermen of the planet Mondas!

Mondas is the original planet of the Cybermen. She appeared for the first time in 1966 in the episode The Tenth Planet which is also the first episode where the Cybermen appear. Originally, this planet was located in our solar system, between Mars and Venus and is twin with Earth. But the Cybermen will use it as spacecraft and remove it from our solar system.

They will make a new appearance after more than fifty years of absence in episodes 11 and 12 of season 10 written by Steven Moffat and directed by Rachel Talalay in Cardiff. Peter Capaldi is still the Doctor, Pearl Mackie is Bill Potts since the 2016 Christmas episode, Matt Lucas is Nardole and Michelle Gomez still plays Missy.
