The Legion series of the FX channel and co-produced with Marvel Television has just been renewed for a season 2.
Eric Hall and Nick Grad, presidents of FX Networks and FX Productions, announced today that Legion will be re-appointed for a season two with still Noah Hawley as showrunner, a token of recognition and success when we know that the series is currently the most watched cable drama of the year 2016.
Anchored in the X-Men universe, Legion tells the story of David Haller, diagnosed with schizophrenia at an early age, and interned in various psychiatric hospitals since then. But as a result of an unexpected encounter with another patient, Haller will realize that he has more than just a mental illness.
Episode 6 of Season 1 will be released today on FX.
