Clive Barker's cult film will soon be celebrating its 30th anniversary. On this occasion, the soundtrack of the movie will come out in September next.
Composed by Christopher Young, used to horror film OST with his compositions for The Revenge of Freddy, The Dark Half or more recently Deliver us from the evil of Scott Derickson, after the rejection of the soundtrack of Stephen Thrower of the group Coil who will take the opportunity to release the album The Unreleased Themes for Hellraiser that will need to buy vinyl to be able to listen to the 11 tracks for 6 of the CD version.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the film on September 15th, the Lakeshore Records label stands out Christopher Young's 14-track OST, an indispensable object for any fan of horror. However, for the owners of the original original soundtrack, no novelty is to be noted and the songs composed by Stephen Thrower will still not appear in the album.
Nevertheless, October 6 will release the vinyl version of the Hellraiser OST. The 140g vinyl will be red blood color and will have the original poster of the long lost film as well as a booklet featuring art concepts and digital photographs digitized and restored for the occasion. Mondo Records will also release its version vinyl version at a date yet unveiled.
