The mythic series created by Michael Hirst continuously expands its audience and the cast attending San Diego ComicCon made many revelations about the next season !

First of all, Katheryn Winnick revealed that her character Lagertha has finally survived her numerous injuries, and that she will have a "catfight" with Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) in next season. She added that an unexpected event will end that. Alexander Ludwig, who interprets Bjorn Ironside, announced that he will travel through Mediterranean with Floki (Gustav Skasgard). If he didn't say his characters's fate, he implied that Alexander and Floki's relationship will evolved.

On the other hand, Gustav Skasgard revealed that Floki will calm down in the return of season 4, even if it won't last..! The other striking news of the Vikings panel at San Diego comicCon,is that Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors, Match Point, etc) will join the cast in next season. Then, Katheryn Winnick also said that season 5 shooting has already begun, in Ireland. Nevertheless, she precised that there is no teaser for the moment, because the director Michael Hirst (who writes everything himself) refuses to say more about the plot and avancements of the next season. Fans will have to wait till next year to know more about it !
