A few days before Fantastic Beasts release, Warner Bros and movie's director make more and more incredible announcements !

Recently, we announced that Johnny Depp would play in the Fantastic Beasts sequels. Rumors already sait that he would play one of the greatest Dark Wizard of all times : Gellert Grindelwald. Today, Fantastic Beasts' director declared that we'll also see Albus Dumbledore in the sequels. David Yates added that he think he has already found young Albus' actor. Plus, he confirmed that Eddie Redmayne will take a part in the sequels, as the magizoologist Newt Scamander, and he would also meet young Dumbledore several times...

Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald have a common story in the magical world. When they were young -before Grindelwald passed in the Dark Side- they were friends (and young Dumbledore had feelings for him). But when Grindelwald reaches his Dark Wizard's apex (around 1945, while Fantastic Beasts take place in 1926), he battled Dumbledore in a spectacular fight (which fans await impatiently). But Grindelwald has been defeated and imprisoned in his fortress for many years. Later, Tom Jedusor (a.k.a. Voldemort) visited him to have informations about the Elder Wand, but Grindelwald refused to say anything so the new Dark Wizard killed him.

Rumor has it that the second film could concentrate on the Grindelwald's rise as a Dark Wizard, because Yates said that the sequel “moves deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, where Newt and our other heroes have to decide on their allegiances.

What about you ? Would you like to see young Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts sequels ?
