Luis Padron, a 25-year-old Argentinian has a dream: to look like an elf at any cost. And to realize his dream, he has already spent close to $40000.
We all have dreams in life. Whether they are achievable over the short or long term, it is important to do everything possible to achieve them. And it is not the Argentine Luis Padron who will tell you the opposite. Fan of Heroic-Fantasy and more generally of the elves, it undertakes all that it is possible to make in order to resemble for trait to one of the creatures of the mythology.
Several operations to change physics
And when one is a terrestrial creature all that is most "classical" physically, it will be necessary to resort to cosmetic surgery in order to reach its ideal. This is what Luis Padron did, beginning with the laser hair removal of all the hair of his body before starting the bleaching of his skin, a rhinoplasty, a liposuction of the cheeks then the addition of botox before Have V-hair implanted on the forehead, the latest operation.
If all his transformations carried out in only five years already seem very much, the young man does not intend to stop there. The next scheduled operations are to get his teeth pointed like a vampire, to refine his ears before finally finishing his jaw.
How does one come to want to become an elf?
Luis Padron was suffering from harassment of all kinds when he was a child. Without really going into the details of the type of suffering he was suffering from his comrades, he found refuge in heroic-fantasy novels such as The Lord of the Rings, Shannara Chronicle, World Disc or Amos Daragon to name only the most famous novels.
Wanting to escape and not resemble those who hurt him when he was younger, Luis Padron decided at the age of 20 to transform into a fantastic creature, the same ones who helped him escape of his ordeal.
Interrogated by the Daily Mail, Luis Padron confided: "I want to become an elf, an angel, a fantastic creature. My aim is to look inhuman, ethereal, graceful and delicate. I have my own ideal of beauty and I want to achieve it whatever happens. [...] I consider myself "trans-species", like transgender people, I have to become who I am inside. I do not expect people to understand me, but I ask them to respect that."
While it is extremely important to follow your dreams, and these can be hard to reach, how far would you be willing to go in order to achieve it?
